Collaboration is key to modern business operations, and that often involves sharing files of various sizes. Historically, sharing large files has been a challenge, but technology has made this process much easier. Here are some simple ways to share large files with your team.

## How to Share Large Files via Google Drive

To share a file through Google Drive, it first needs to be uploaded. If your file isn’t already in Google Drive, follow these steps:

- Go to Google Drive.
- Click **New**, then choose either **File upload** or **Folder upload.**
- Select the file or folder you want to share.
- You can also drag and drop files directly into a folder in Google Drive.

Once uploaded, **right-click the file**, choose **Share**, and then click **Copy link**. You can paste this link into an email or message to share it with your team.

## How to Share Large Files via Microsoft OneDrive

Similar to Google Drive, files must be uploaded to Microsoft OneDrive before sharing. Here's how:

- Log in to Office.com and find OneDrive in the app launcher.
- Click **Add new** and select the file or folder you want to upload.
- Click **Upload**.

To share the file, select it by clicking the circle icon next to it, then click **Share** at the top of the screen. A window will open with the option to **Copy link**. Once copied, you can share the link via email or message.
